Flesh-tones Palette Demonstration

I filmed this short tutorial on how to use my current flesh-tones palette for a student last week who was having issues controlling chroma. He agreed to let me share it here.

Hopefully this is somewhat instructive for those of you trying out this palette. I demonstrate how to go about mixing specific flesh tones using the color strings, and also talk just a little bit about when and why chroma might increase or decrease when painting flesh-tones.

Would a more in depth discussion of how light interacting with skin results in varying levels of chroma be of interest? Let me know in the comments.

Happy Painting!
